Jon Bingol is a Process Improvement expert in both industry and health care.
Jon has been actively involved in Lean, quality, SCM, and leadership development for over 20 years, applying the principles in health care as a board member, consultant, Director of Continuous Improvement, Management Engineer, and Project Manager.
Mr. Bingol has utilized his skills and experience to assist over 500 companies implement Lean in such diverse industrues as manufacturing, distribution, health care, service businesses, tourism, and government.
Jon earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin in Eau Claire. He is a certified Fellow in Production and Inventory Management (CFPIM) from APICS, a Professional Community Developer (PCD) from the Community Development Council, a Johah from the Goldratt Institute, and a Certified Quality Manager (CQM) from ASQ.
Mr. Bingol has taught these subjects at numerous educational institutions and companies, and knows both the theory and practical application to the tools. He has been a Baldrige Examiner for the Wisconsin Forward Award and currently works for Gundersen Lutheran Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Together with Wayne L. Staley, Jon has co-authored Crunch Time for Health Care: Continuous Process Improvement for the Medical Profession as well as Productivity Prescriptions for Health Care: Patient Centric Process Improvement
